A fantastic...all purpose...crisper sheet
I was a little skeptical of just how good these crisper sheets would work simply because it seemed to work far to good on TV. However there was no exaggeration. These sheets are fantastic! I have tested them with a variety of foods
Pizza, French Fries (frozen), home made fries, Jamaican Beef Paties, chicken, chicken cutlets etc this sheet worked perfect for everything.
The idea behind the crisper sheet is that it has many holes in it. Not just a handful. This allows the heat from the oven coil/burner to pass through the sheet to create more of a convection oven. The bottom of the food gets cooked just as fast as the top which eliminates soggy fries, and allows items like chicken cutlets and chicken pieces to crisp all around instead of a crispy top with soggy bottom.
The sheets are very light weight and quite durable. Cleaning is a snap as they are nonstick and cool down very fast. After 25 minutes in a 450 deg oven the sheet was quite hot...
