Rowenta Commercial Garment Steamer

slow starter
After a bit of a slow start I figured out that if I nuge the tank an air buble cames up and the water goes into the heating unit and out comes the steam. Once I got going the steam was flowing easily and the wrinkles came out of my suit beautifully! I was impressed with the over all ease of use and how nice my suits looked when I was finished. Only one warning, the hose gets VERY HOT! It does have a cool touch handle but the hose is very hot! Do not use around small children.

great! (when it works)
We bought this steamer to keep all of our clothes moth-free. It took a while to heat up but worked well once it started steaming.
We used the Rowenta weekly for a year and a half before the switch stopped working reliably. Six months later the steamer completely stopped working.

I wish the Rowenta was more reliable & lasted longer. Now we are going to try a Jiffy Steamer.

Great at first, but poorly made
I got this steamer about a year ago and It worked very well until it started leaking rusty water everywhere. The warranty was only good for a year. So I took it apart to find that the inside was very badly corroded and that the gasket that seals in the steam was no longer functional. It is not built to last and it is too expensive to only last a year.
