The most used cookware in my kitchen
We received this Slow cooking set for free when we bought the Calphalon tri-ply stainless steel set. It is sad to say but we use this particular piece of cookware more than any of the other pieces from the set. It cooks evenly, has great temperature control, and you really have to try to burn something to have it stick to this. It is not non-stick but it does not stick like stainless steel does. The towel that comes with it is also very nice. So nice that we bought a couple different sets of them.

$100 or Free?
The gift with purchase arrived first. It's sold elsewhere for $49.99 but Amazon bills it as $100 even. The pot is made in America and the spoon and towel are made in China. This is the only nonstick piece I have.
It's not heavy or impressive at all. Very friendly despite concerns with the coating. The inner bottom and lower half of the inner sides are smooth to the touch.
The recipe cards are for beef stew with lentils and rosemary, chicken mushroom wild rice casserole, bolognese sauce and chicken and sausage jambalaya. These recipes are also available on Calphalon's website.

This is the pan that caused me to buy the rest of the calphalon one infused line, easy cleanup, just the right size pan,and you can use any utensil. Life time warranty.
